Backdraft Dampers
Features:
HUNTAIR's patent pending Backdraft Damper for use with FANWALL® systems is designed to allow airflow at the inlet side of a FANWALL cube and prevent airflow in the reverse direction. The vertical blades of the damper open as airflow commences and close when the fan is idle. This is accomplished without the use of mechanical means or weights. The damper has a smaller footprint than the industry standard versions and uses a bell mouth opening, resulting in little or no static pressure loss. Sealed ball bearings mean little or no maintenance.
